I let go, again.

I was working on letting go of an attachment this morning and was reminded that letting go is something we need to do everyday, all day. Wrote this blog post to assist us all in this process.

We can’t be reminded enough about the power and importance of letting go, every day. It is easy to feel that we had an issue and that we focused, and we let go and then think that our job is done. But, no, I’m sorry to report, life doesn’t seem to work that way.

In fact, it seems to me, that life is relentless in asking us to let go of our attachments to how we think things should be so that we can more deeply embrace the life that is meant for us.

Perhaps you need to let go of an attachment to how a child is behaving or perhaps you need to let go of an attachment to a friend or perhaps you need to let go of your attachment to how a particular area of your life is going.

Letting go of attachments doesn’t mean that we are letting go of our pure desire, it means that we are letting go of the fear and the tight grip around whatever situation we happen to find ourself in.

The irony, of course, is that once you let go of your attachments you are more able to read the energy and know how to best be in the situation. Clutching, neediness, and clinging, even when we are clinging to a noble idea, all block clarity and right action. So, it just makes sense to let go of our attachments frequently and see where life takes us.

Again, we don’t want to confuse letting go with complacency.

When we let go, we let go of our fears and our tight grip and our attachments to outcome. When we let go of our attachments, a natural clarity arises and we will actually know how to most effectively be with any situation in our life.

But don’t take my word for it.

Try it for yourself.

The next time that you find your self “too attached” to how something is going, (and I imagine, we all have something that instantly comes to mind!) experiment with just letting it go.

You can do this by simply affirming:

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I know that situations in my life work out better when I’m not clinging, grasping, and holding on too tight and so it just makes sense to let go.

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I surrender this situation to spirit.
I let go and I surrender this person to spirit.
I let go and I surrender this child into spirits hands.

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I let go of my tight grip.
I let go of my neediness.
I let go of my clinging and my attachments to how I think it should be.

I let go and I surrender to a force of life that knows far better than I about how to heal and mend this situation.

I let go in the morning and
I let go in the evening and
I let go through out my day.

I don’t just let go once and think I’m done.

No,

I let go constantly.
I let go repeatedly.

Spirit:

Help me to let go.

Help me to let go of my limited, tight grip.

Help me to let go of my neediness, my clinging, and my attachments.

Help me to see beyond this limited situation.

Help to move me into a sense of possibility and unlimited potential.

Help me to step into the unlimited reality that exists.

Help me to let go of my tight grip so that the vastness of all that is can take over this situation.

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I let go of my tight grip.
I let go of trying to control the vast ocean of life.
I let go of my limited point of view and perspective.

I let go and I step into my wisdom.
I let go and I step into the vastness of who I am.
I let go and I step into my infinite power.
I let go and I step into my unlimited nature.

When we cling, when we are attached, we become small.

Step into the vastness of who you are.
Step into the world of infinite possibilities.
Step into a world of unlimited potentials.

Your limited mind has no idea of the unlimited ways that your situation could heal and mend.

Let go of your limited way of being in the world.

Surrender and trust now.

Surrender to a force of life that knows what is needed.
Surrender to a force of life that is responsible for the creation of the universe.

Surrender.
Surrender.

Trust.
Trust.

Listen.
Listen.

Listen and do your part.
Listen and do what you are guided to do.

You will only be able to listen and follow guidance if you are actively working on letting go of your attachments.

It is when you let go of your tight grip that you can more easily read the energy and the currents of your life.

And so let this be your experiment.
Let this be your practice.

You have tried the way of tightness and gripping and attachments.

Now try this new way.

Practice letting go.

Allow the following affirmation to be your mantra:

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

Say it often, repeatedly, frequently.

Yes, it takes work to let go.

Do this for a few days and allow the results to amaze you.

You will step into greater clarity, greater wisdom, and greater power.

Places where you feel confused we become clear as deeper insight illuminates your mind.

Let this be your practice.
Let this be experiment.

Affirm frequently:

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I step into my wisdom.
I let go and I step into my clarity.
I let go and I step into my power.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I lead a guided life.
I let go and I allow the vastness of life to show me the way.

I let go and I am free.
I let go and you are free.

I let go and we are all free.

We are free to align with a force of life that knows what is truly best and what is truly needed.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go in the morning.
I let go in the evening.

I let go all day long.

This is my practice.
This is my experiment.
This is my devotion.

This is my way of aligning with a force of life that has everyone’s best interest at heart.

When I let go, I am removing the blockages that come from attachment.
When I let go, I am removing the resistance.

When I let go, what is meant to come to me will come, and what is not meant will go.

And so,

I let go and I trust.
I let go and I surrender.

I let go and I step into the greatness of who I am.

I let go and I step into my greatness.
I let go and I step into my vastness.

I let go and I step into my true unlimited nature that does not cling.
I let go and I step into my infinite potential.

I do not limit my life by gripping tightly.
I do not make myself small by becoming attached.

No,

I fling open the doors to my heart and I let go and allow the awesomeness of life to lead the way.

I let go and I align with this powerful force of life that knows what is best.

I let go of my little self and step into the vastness of who I truly am.

I let go of my little agendas and step into infinite potential.
I let go of my holding tight and let the great I am run the show.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I step into my greatness.
I let go and I step into my greatness.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I step into the vastness of who I am.
I let go and I step into the vastness of who I am.

I let go.
I let go.

My attachments keep me small.
My attachments keep my life small.

And so,

I let go.
I let go.

I let go.
I let go.

And then:

I let go some more.
I let go again and again and again.

This is my practice.
This is my agenda.
This is my work.

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I deserve.

I was at a party the other day and someone asked me a question about a mutual friend. I answered their question and then realized that I had said too much. It wasn’t a terribly big deal but still I felt badly. It was an honest mistake, but still a mistake nonetheless. If I had been more prepared for the question I would have said less.

I was thinking about this when I got home and felt badly about it. Again, it wasn’t the end of the world and in a sense I was being sort of hard on myself. I just said a little too much.

Anyway, in my time of feeling badly, a critical voice that I didn’t know was in me arose and said with great venom: “You don’t deserve goodness.”

What, I answered back, that is kind of a strong reaction isn’t it? (Trying to rationalize with my irritational self.) Yes, but still, you don’t deserve, it echoed back.

I felt, in that moment, that a part of my unconscious mind was revealing itself to me. Sort of rearing its ugly head in a moment of vulnerability.

I’m glad, however, that this happened.

They say that 90 percent of our mind is unconscious. Consciously, i would say I totally hold the attitude that I deserve, but clearly their was this voice deep within me that felt otherwise.

Its important to be aware of these unconscious voices in our heads because they affect our lives and our manifestation. What goodness might I be blocking because I have this hidden voice saying that I don’t deserve?

Once these voices come to the surface we can begin to work with them using affirmations, prayer, Tong Ren Chakra Balancing or other healing techniques.

For me, I wrote the following affirmation for myself and thought I’d share it here in case, from time to time, there is a voice within you that rises up to try to hold you down.

Here is to our collective liberation!

I deserve.

I deserve.
I deserve.

I deserve the goodness of the universe.
I deserve the goodness of the universe.

I deserve wealth.
I deserve love.
I deserve prosperity.
I deserve kindness.

I deserve.
I deserve.

I deserve and I am open to receive.
I deserve and I am open to receive.

I am open to receive the goodness of this universe.
I am open to receive the goodness of this universe.

We have all made mistakes.
No one is exempt.

We have all made mistakes and yet we still deserve.

So quiet that voice within that says I do not deserve.
Heal that voice within that blocks the goodness of the universe.

I heal that voice within and I open to receive.
I heal that voice within and I devote myself to service.

I open to the goodness of the universe.
I open to the goodness of the universe.

I open to greater power.
I open to greater love.
I open to great wealth.
I open to greater abundance.
I open to greater kindness.

I am a child of God and I deserve.
We all deserve healing.

Take a moment now and open to the goodness of the universe.

Open to a force of life that has your best interest at heart.
Open to a force of life that wants to bring you all that you need to heal.

Heal the voice within that says I don’t deserve.
Heal the voice within that blocks this goodness.

Know that you spirit and that you are good and
Know that everyone makes mistakes.

Be kind to yourself and open.
Be open and allow yourself to heal.

If there is a place within you that you are having trouble healing, ask for divine intervention now.

Help me spirit to know that I deserve the goodness of the universe.

Help me to heal the voice within me that says I do not deserve.

Help me to be open to your goodness more and more.

Affirm:

I am healing.
I am whole.
I am complete
I am a child of God and
I deserve.

Reread this affirmation and meditation frequently.

Have a good weekend everyone and remember that
regardless of the mistakes that we have made, we all deserve healing.

Sincerely,

Hayley Mermelstein

She believed that she could, and so, she did.

Hello Everyone,

I was doing a guided meditation through my chakras this morning, and as I was meditating, I realized that my throat chakra was my weakest center. The throat center is the center for expression, confidence, power, growth and learning. When I asked myself why my throat center felt so weak, I instantly knew the answer. I knew that it was because I needed to work on my confidence.

I’m told I come across as confident, but actually it is something I struggle with in one way or another almost every day. Sometimes I feel incredibly confident, and yet at other times thoughts of insecurity creep in. And so, after meditating, I went for a walk and as I was walking a poem/meditation started coming through me. I talked it into my handy dandy phone (blog post writing is so much easier now that I can talk them into my phone) and now can read it daily to help strengthen my throat center.

I thought I’d share this affirmation/poem here with all of you, because no matter where we are at, we can all work on strengthening our chakras and stepping into our full potential more and more.

For more information about the chakras, keep an eye out for my new book: Balance Your Chakras: The TRCB Book of Affirmations, that will be coming out this fall (date to be announced shortly).

She believed she could, so she did.

I am filled with confidence.
I am filled with confidence.

I embody confidence.
I embody confidence.

I feel confident.
I feel confident.

Every cell of my body is filled with confidence.
Every cell of my body radiates confidence.

My entire being is filled with confidence.

She believed that she could and so she did.
She believed that she could and so she did.

I know that I can accomplish what I’ve come to accomplish.
I know I can fulfill my destiny.

I know that I do not work alone.
I know that I am part of a powerful team.

I know that powerful beings of light are all around me.
I know that these powerful beings of light are working with me to manifest what I need.

She believed that she could and so she did.
She believed that she could and so she did.

I do not work alone.
I know that I attract helpers in the physical world and in the spiritual world.

I know I can accomplish what I’ve come here to accomplish.
I know I can make the contribution that I’ve come to make.

I am filled with confidence.
I am filled with confidence.

I embody confidence.
I embody confidence.

I feel confident.
I feel confident.

Every cell of my body is filled with confidence.
Every cell of my body radiates confidence.

My confidence draws to me all the help that I need both from both the physical world and the spiritual world.

And so for today, I embody confidence.
And so for today, I allow this to be my practice.

And for today I step into my full confidence and my full potential.

I am confident.
I am confident.

I am confident.
I am confident.

The mind and body are one.

I was having dinner with a friend last night and she was telling me that she was really struggling with asthma flair up and was having trouble breathing. It turns out that the asthma flair up started soon after the death of a close friend. In Chinese Medicine grief weakens the lungs, so it’s not uncommon for people dealing with grief to develop lung issues. My friend had also recently been eating more dairy than usual. Dairy is also a common trigger for asthma.

I was also struggling somewhat. I had recently had flair up of my allergies, which had been dormant for years. The flair up coincided with a high mold count in the air (I’m sensitive to mold), a return to eating wheat (a food I generally avoid), and an emotional upset I was having with a friend. I had developed an almost uncontrollable cough due to the allergy.

The physical health symptoms we experience can come about due to a number of reasons. They can come about due to allergic reactions to foods, side effects from medications, vitamin deficiencies, and past injuries. They can come about due to environmental factors such as pollution, gmo’s, contaminated water, ticks, or radiation exposure. They can also come about due to emotional issues. For example, if there is something you need to say and are not saying you might develop a cough, or a hoarse voice or thyroid issues. If you are experiencing a lot of grief it may affect your lungs. If you are experiencing a lot of resentment and anger it might affect your joints or your skin. The possibilities of how are emotions can affect our body are endless.

If you are experiencing health issues, you may want to pause and ask yourself what the contributing factors might be. I paused in the middle of my allergic reaction and saw several things. I saw that I had started eating wheat again, and that the wheat was weakening my immune system. I also saw that I was feeling like a victim in one of my friendships and that feeling like a victim was also weakening my immune system. I saw that I needed to step into my power and confidence. So, instead of focusing on feeling hurt by my friend, I started affirming to myself:

I am powerful.
I am powerful.

I feel powerful.
I feel powerful.

I embody power.
I embody power.

I am a powerful being of light.
I am a powerful being of light.

I have the power to influence.
I have the power to influence.

I use my power in service to all of humanity.
I use my power in service to all of humanity.

My words are powerful.
My words are powerful.

I am powerful.
I am powerful.

I am filled with the power of spirit.
I am filled with the power of spirit.

I am a powerful being of light.
I am a powerful being of light.

It was sort of amazing, but as I started shifting from a victim mentality to a mentality of confidence and power, my physical symptoms begin to subside (I started coughing and sneezing much less). The symptoms didn’t go away completely, but they definitely became more manageable. The next day when I decided to fully express myself to my friend, my cough quickly subsided and health began to return to my body.

I share all of this today as a reminder of the impact that our emotions play on our health.

Take a moment to assess your internal environment. How might the thoughts and feeling you are having be impacting your physical body?

When I shifted my thoughts and feelings from that of a victim to that of being a powerful being of light my physical symptoms improved. When I said what I needed to say, my cough improved.

Practice addressing your physical symptoms on many levels. What food choices do you need to change? What vitamins do you need to add? Do you need to exercise more or less? Are you getting enough sleep? What feelings do you need to work on? Are you resentful and angry? How might that be impacting your health? Are you not saying what you need to say? How is that blocking your energy? Are you struggling with lack of self acceptance? How might that be impacting your well being?

Practice elevating your thoughts and feelings and see how this impacts your physical body. Let this be your experiment for the week.

If you would like additional assistance with this be sure to check out our You Tube Page at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjOQSO4tSZN1ltGeb-KFC7w where there are lots of inspiring videos that can assist you in elevating your emotional state.

I am also available for in person and phone consultations to help understand and address these various issues.

Again, there are many reasons for the health issues we face. Emotional factors are just one piece. But since this is an area where we can exert influence it can be helpful to really examine our emotional state and elevate our awareness where we can.

Have a good week.

Embracing the Learning Process (TRCB Video)

This weeks TRCB healing video is on embracing the learning process.

The earth is a school and we have come for growth, learning, enjoyment and service. Learning to accept our mistakes and grow from them, is a large part of why we are here.

Culturally we are taught to identify with our behavior and thus when make a mistake we may consider ourselves to be bad. I have been taught to separate behavior from identity. We are spirit and our essential self is good while our behavior is evolving.

For today practice seeing yourself as spirit and good and learning. Come to see your essential self as good and your behavior as an evolving process.

(I remember reading somewhere that if you aren’t embarrassed by the person that you were a year ago that you are not learning and growing enough.)

So embrace the fact that you are good and that you are learning and be aware of how this impacts your attitude toward mistakes (both your own and others).

This weeks TRCB affirmations are:

Crown: I let go and I trust the process of life.

Third eye: I am wise.

Throat: I am learning and growing. We are all learning and growing.

Heart: I am filled with compassion for myself and others for we are all learning and growing.

Solar Plexus: I embrace the learning process. I accept the learning process. I allow the learning process.

Identity: I am filled with wholeness.

Base: I am disciplined. I attend to my mind, body, and spirit everyday.

Work with these affirmations this week and see how they evolve your attitude towards yourself, others, and the learning process.

As we learn to embrace our learning process we can develop a deeper compassion for ourselves and others, for once again, we are all spirit, we are all good, and we are all learning.

For this week, separate your behavior from your identity. Know that you are good regardless of what mistakes that you have made. And offer compassion to yourself and others. Be aware of how this impacts the quality of your week.

Enjoy the video.

Sincerely,

Hayley Mermelstein

Embracing the Learning Process

Last week I thought I had made a financially costly mistake. As it turned out, I had not. But still, the experience of thinking I had made a mistake and my reaction to it, made me realize I still had quite a bit of work to do on embracing the learning process.

Mistakes are an inevitable part of life, and when we see them as bad we really suffer.

Of course, none of us want to make mistakes and it is great to aspire to be thoughtful as we move through our lives, but even under the best of circumstances we will all falter.

We are human and we are learning, their is simply no way around this. Everyone we come in contact with is also human and learning. The sooner we embrace this reality the happier we will be.

In addition to the fact that we are human and learning, we are also spirit and filled with greatness and so is everyone else.

Learning to hold these two awarenesses simultaneously is part of what we are here to do.

Anyway, as I was contemplating all this and working on embracing the learning process, I wrote the following post to help me remember.

Thought I’d share it here, in case any of you are working on the same lessons.

I am learning and growing.

The earth is a school.
We have come for learning and we have come for growth.
That is why we are here.

And so, do not be so surprised by the mistakes, as if you had hope of not making any.

We have come for growth and we have come for learning, and
We have come to serve and we have come to enjoy.

Embrace all aspects of your journey.

Embrace the learning.
Embrace the growth.
Embrace your enjoyment and
Embrace your service.

Embrace all aspects of why you are here.

Affirm often:

I embrace the learning process.
I welcome the learning process.

I have come for growth and I have come for learning, it is a large part of why I am here.

The earth is a school and we have all come for growth.
We have all come for learning.

And so, embrace the learning process and embrace the growth process.

Know that you have come for growth.
Know that you have come for learning.

Remember why you are here and do not be so surprised by the process.

Have deep compassion for yourself and deep compassion for others, for all are learning and all are growing and no one is exempt.

Do not expect perfection from yourself and do not expect perfection from others.

We are all learning and we are all growing.

You may be extremely wise in one moment and you may be foolish in the next.
And this discrepancy may cause you great pain.
But know that is too is part of the process of life.

All are human, and all are learning and growing.
And all our spirit, and all filled with divinity and greatness.

You may encounter others who exhibit great wisdom in one moment and great foolishness in the next.

Learn to have compassion for their process as well.

For everyone is filled with greatness and great divinity and
All are human and learning.

Do not be so surprised by this process and do not be so hurt by this process.

It is the process of life and so step into your maturity now and come to understand the ways of the world. Come to understand deeply that all are learning and that all are growing and that no one is exempt.

Come to accept that you may be wise in one moment and not as wise in the next.
Come to accept that others will have this discrepancy as well.

This discrepancy is painful unless you understand that everyone is filled with divinity and greatness and that at the same time everyone is human and learning.

And so, come to embrace the entirety of who you.

Embrace your divinity.
Embrace your wisdom.
Embrace your greatness.
Embrace that you are human and that you are learning.
Embrace your humility.
Embrace that you have blind spots and
Embrace that you have places of weakness that are less developed inside of yourself.

Seek to develop your strengths and seek to heal your weaknesses, for that is what you have come to do.

You have come to grow.
You have come to learn.
You have come to enjoy and you have come to serve.

And so embrace it all now.

Embrace the growth.
Embrace the learning.
Embrace that you human.
Embrace that you are spirit and filled with greatness.
Embrace it all and feel compassion for yourself and for the journey.

Feel compassion for others and for their journey, for they too are filled with greatness and great wisdom, and they too are human and they have weaknesses and they are learning and growing.

Have compassion for yourself and have compassion for others.
For everyone is learning and everyone is growing and there is no way around this.

Again, step into your maturity.

Step into your understanding and know that everyone is learning and everyone is growing.

Expect the imbalances.
Do not be so shocked by them.

Whether they are your own imbalances or the imbalances of others.

Embrace it all.
Embrace your strengths and embrace your weaknesses.

Embrace the strengths of others and
Embrace the weaknesses of others.

Be gentle with yourself and be compassionate.
At the same time be disciplined and be firm.

Learn what you’ve come here to learn and you will be satisfied with your journey.

I let go.

I’ve been thinking a lot this week about surrender. The theme got “triggered” because I woke up one morning much too attached to something that wasn’t going the way I thought it should. I could feel how deeply painful it is to be attached and needed to do something to free myself from the pain.

I decided the only solution was to spend the day (the whole day) letting go of my attachments. For me this meant affirming: I let go. I let go. I let go. Every time this subject entered my mind.

This could be mistaken for passivity, but actually when we let go of our tight grip on people and situations in our life what is meant to be can come to us and what is not meant can leave. Also when we let go of our attachments we can more easily hear the whispers of spirit within us and all around us.

All in all, letting go of attachments can be an incredible tool for accessing clarity and releasing blockages that are holding us back in our lives and allowing the hand of spirit to more easily guide us.

In terms of my situation, I was letting go of an attachment to healing a relationship with a friend. Interestingly (and surprisingly), at the end of my long day of letting go of attachments this friend emailed me and asked if i want to get together and talk. (something we haven’t done in over a year.)

I didn’t let go with the purpose of getting what I wanted. I let go because I was in pain and I knew that my tight grip blocks energy and clarity. In my situation, letting go of my attachments released the blockages so that my friend and I could talk. In another case, it may have freed me to move on to a more appropriate relationship.

The attunement varies, but again when you let go of your attachments it opens you to the miraculous. What your miracle will be will vary. In one case you may get what you actually wanted, in another, a deep acceptance of what is may occur. We can’t be attached when we are letting go. We must let go and be open to what transpires next.

On a side note, I also stumbled upon a book this week called The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer which i’m really enjoying so far, and is reinforcing the theme about the power of letting go.

Being attached and holding on too tight is painful and blocks our clarity and our ability to read the energy and know what is right for us.

Practice letting go of your attachments this week (this does not mean to get rid of all of your belongings!) and surrendering to a force of life greater than yourself.

See it as your experiment, and be aware of how this affects the quality of your week.

Here is a little something I wrote on the topic to assist all of us in letting go:

I let go.
I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I trust the process of life.
I let go and I trust that spirit is working with me to manifest what I need.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I give spirit the control.

I let go
I let go.

When I let go and I give spirit the control the miraculous can occur.
When I let go and I give spirit the control the miraculous can occur.

And so,

I let go.
I let go.

I surrender.
I surrender.

I trust.
I trust.

I allow.
I allow.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and then
I let go some more.

I spend my day letting go of my attachments.

This does not make me passive for when I let go of my attachments, when I let go of the places that I am holding too tight, when I truly surrender, I become very clear.

When I let go, I can hear the whispers of spirit within me and all around me.
When I let go of my fears and blockages, I can do that which is mine to do.

But the first step is always to surrender.

My first step is to let go of my fear, to let go of my tight grip, and to let go of my tension.
My first step is to let go of the voices in my head that try to dictate how it should be.
My first step is to surrender my attachments completely.

My first step is to let go and spend my days in a state of surrender.
I surrender frequently through out the day.

I affirm many times:

I let go.
I let go.

I let go and I trust the process of life.
I let go and I surrender to spirit.

I let go and I surrender to a force of life greater than myself.
I let go and I surrender to a force of life that knows what is needed next.

I let go of my personal will.

I surrender.
I surrender.

When I let go, I can hear the whispers of spirit within me and all around me.
When I let go, I align with a force of life that has everyone’s best interest at heart.
When I let go, I become powerful.

I let go.
I let go.

I surrender.
I surrender.

I allow.
I allow.

I trust.
I trust.

I let go in the morning.
I let go in the evening.

I let go through out my day.
And this is my experiment, to live a surrendered life .

I let go, and I open to the miraculous.
I let go, and I open to a force of life grater than myself.

I let go of my personal will and I merge with the will of spirit.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go, and when I let go I can more easily hear the whispers of spirit all around me.
When I let go, I will know what to do

But for now I focus on letting go.

I let go of my own personal will.
I let go of how I think it should be.

I let go
I let go.

I let go and I live a guided life.
I let go and allow the people in my life to be who they are.

I let go and I know when to intervene and
I let go and I know when to step back.

But when in doubt,
I let go of my attachments some more.

I let go of my fear.
I let go of my tight grip.
I let go of my thoughts about how it is supposed to be.

I surrender.
I surrender.

I allow.
I allow.

I let go.
I let go.

I trust.
I trust.

I open to the miraculous.
I open to the miraculous.

When I let go and allow spirit to have the control the miraculous can occur, and so:

I let go and I open to the miraculous.
I let go and I open to the miraculous.

I let go and I sit in silence now.

I let go and I sit in my wholeness.
I let go and I sit in my power.
I let go and I sit in strength.
I let go and I remember who I really am.

I let go and I open to the miraculous.
I let go and I open to the miraculous.

I let go.
I let go.

I let go.
I let go.

Cultivating Trust

Hello Everyone,

I was driving in my car yesterday and was listening to a Joel Osteen video about deepening trust. (I’m not Christian, but like to draw spiritual inspiration from many sources.) When I got to my destination an affirmation/message started going through my head. I didn’t have any paper with me but then it occured to me that I could speak the message into the microphone of my phone and my phone would write it down for me. (The wonders of technology!).

Anyway, I managed to capture the message and wanted to share it with all of you, so that we can all enjoy a little Sunday morning inspiration.

I trust.

I trust.
I trust.

I let go and I trust the process of life.
I trust that spirit is working with me to manifest what I need.

I trust that spirit is my helper.
I trust that spirit is my partner.

I trust.
I trust.

I trust that powerful guides are by my side.
I trust that I am being guided.
I trust that I live a guided life.

I trust.
I trust.

I trust that there is a spiritual force of life that is always working with me.

I trust.
I trust.

I trust the power of spirit and focus on that power rather than focusing on the size of my problems.
I trust the power of spirit and make that power bigger than my enemies.

I trust.
I trust.

I devote myself to service and I draw in even more powerful assistance.
I devote myself to service and I am surrounded by powerful beings of light.

I let go and I trust the process of life.
I let go and I trust the process of life.

I trust.
I trust.

Take a moment now and immerse yourself in trust. Give yourself permission to remember that powerful beings of light are all around you working with you to manifest what you need. Remember that you are never alone.

When you are tempted to become overwhelmed with your problems, turn instead and focus on the power of spirit.

Focus on the power of spirit within you and the power of spirit all around you. Ask for divine assistance. Focus on the power of spirit and allow the power of spirit to bring you through.

Be sure to couple your trust in spirit with wise decision making and appropriate action.

Be aware of how this impacts the quality of your day.

~Have a nice Sunday everyone!

Sincerely,

Hayley Mermelstein

I listen deeply.

I’ve been thinking a lot this week about listening deeply to our own inner knowing. Its easy to get caught up in how society tells us we need to be and distance ourselves from the small, still voice within that is guiding us. Take some time this week to really listen within and see what your own inner spirit is trying to tell you. Instead of moving from a place of obligation and guilt, experiment with listening deeply within and allowing your own inner spirit to lead the way.

I listen deeply.

I listen deeply to my own inner spirit.
I listen deeply to the small, still voice within.

I listen deeply to what is mine to do and what is not mine to do.

I listen deeply.
I listen deeply.

I listen deeply and I let go of societal expectations of how I should be.

I listen deeply and I let go of the “shoulds” and the “have to’s”.

I listen deeply and devote myself to something deeper.
I listen deeply and devote myself to listening to the whispers of spirit within me, and all around me.

I listen deeply and devote myself to pleasing spirit rather than playing by the rules of our society.

I listen deeply and devote myself to living a guided life.

I listen deeply.
I listen deeply.

When I listen deeply I do what is best for all concerned.

At the spiritual level there is consensus.
At the spiritual level what is right for one, is right for the whole.

And so let go of your ideas of right and wrong.
And so let go of your ideas of how it is supposed to be.

So many have become numb from cultural conditioning of how you are supposed to be, that you have lost yourself.

And so let go of the preconceived ideas of how you should be and step into the person that you are.

Let go and listen deeply.

When you are devoted to listening deeply you will know what is yours to do and what it not.

When you are devoted to listening deeply you will know what is the attunement of the moment.

Listen deeply now and do what is yours to be.
Listen deeply now and let go of playing by the rules.
Listen deeply now and aspire to please spirit.
Listen deeply now and be true to your own inner spirit.
Listen deeply now and seek to express who you truly are.
Listen deeply now and let go of obligation and guilt and step into a knowing about who you are and why you are here.

Listen deeply now and express your truest version of yourself.
Listen deeply now and say what is yours to say.

Listen deeply now and be free.
Listen deeply now and be free to be yourself.
Listen deeply now and do not move from a place of obligation.
Listen deeply now and allow your own inner spirit to move you.
Listen deeply now and be true to yourself even if your society has trained you to push down your own inner knowing.

Listen deeply now and step into the best version of who you are.
Listen deeply now and be true to yourself.
Listen deeply now and express who you are and what you need.

Listen deeply.
Listen deeply.
Listen deeply.

Take a moment now and devote yourself to listening deeply. Listen deeply to yourself. Listen deeply to the small, still voice within. Listen deeply to the whispers of spirit all around you. Seek to free yourself from doing things from a place of guilt and obligation. Instead, commit to listening deeply and leading a guided life.

Your society has given you a set of rules to live by that has taken you away from your own inner knowing. Rules such as family comes first, or its better to give than to receive, or girls should be nice, or you should put the needs of others ahead of your own. All of these rules take you away from your own inner knowing about what is truly right for you. And so free yourself now from the rules and seek to listen to your own inner authority. Seek to listen to your own inner voice which will guide you in right action. Seek to listen to your own inner voice which will seek to serve at the deepest level.

At the deepest level we are in agreement. At the deepest level there is consensus. And so seek to listen now at the deepest level and carry out that which you are guided to do, even if it goes against the wishes of others, or your societal conditioning. Seek to be free of your conditioning and instead listen deeply within. There is a voice within that will guide you if you are willing to listen.

When learning to listen to this voice within, you may be guided to do things that are not pleasing to those around you. Perhaps those around you are used to you accommodating their needs or going along with the status quo. As you break free from this you may encounter resistance. Be prepared for this but stand in your own convictions and know that when you are listening deeply within you are actually doing what is best for all concerned, even if you meet with external resistance.

Seek to be true to yourself. Allow this to be a process for you are learning and growing, and learning to listen within is a process as well. You will get better at it over time. And so devote yourself to deep listening now. Listen deeply within and seek to move from a place of deep listening. When feelings of I have too or obligation arise, seek to return to deep listening and see how your inner spirit wants to proceed.

Seek to move from a place of deep listening rather than obligation.

You will not become irresponsible when you move in this way. In fact, you will become more responsible because you will be serving a force of life that truly has everyone’s best interest at heart. This cannot be understood from an intellectual model. This is an experiential model.

So listen deeply now and allow yourself to be guided in right action. Listen deeply now and devote yourself to a force of life that has everyone’s best interest in mind. Listen deeply now and be free of your societal conditioning of how you are supposed to be. Listen deeply now and allow yourself to live a guided life.

Listen deeply. Listen deeply. Listen deeply.

You will be amazed at what you hear when you open yourself to really listening.

Opening to Receive with TRCB

Hello Everyone and welcome to TRCB Tuesday.

This weeks video is focused on opening to receive. Many of us were trained from a young age that it is better to give than to receive. I was taught by my teachers that it is better to give and to receive and that it is better to seek the balance. When we are in a deeper balance we are equally comfortable with both giving and receiving.

Many of us unconsciously block receiving either because we feel we don’t deserve, we feel guilty, or we simply have a deeply held belief that it is better to give than to receive so we focus exclusively on giving and then become drained and depleted.

And so for today, I thought we’d work on opening to receive. I have found it helpful to look at receiving as a skill that you can develop. When thoughts of: I don’t deserve arise, or thoughts of: wait others are suffering its selfish of me to receive arise, gently surrender these thoughts or move then aside.

Remember our being open to receive doesn’t block another from opening to receive. We can all learn this skill. And often when we allow ourselves to receive, we actually then have more resources to help others. (Watch for next weeks video on Opening to Greater World Service)

And so we can learn to separate receiving from thoughts of deserving, and just see learning to receive as a skill that is available to all of us.

This weeks chakra balancing affirmations are:

Crown: I am open to receive the light.

Third eye: I am open receive deeper wisdom.

Throat: I am open to receive compliments and criticism because I can learn from both.

Heart: I am open to give and receive love.

Solar Plexus: I welcome all of life.

Identity Chakra: I am open to give and receive. I am equally comfortable with both.

Base: I am open to greater self-care. I attend to my mind, body, emotional health, and spirit everyday.

And there you have it. Your 7 chakra balancing affirmations for the week.

For this week, give yourself permission to focus on opening to receive. Open to receive the light of spirit that is all around you. Open to receive love. Open to receive greater financial abundance. Open to receive miracles. Open to receive new opportunities. Open to new friendships. Open to positive change. Open to divine intervention. Open to receive all that life wants to bring to you. Do not block out of fear or ignorance. Instead open to receive that which is meant for you.

Practice opening to receive and be aware of what transpires in the week ahead.

As you open to receive, also practice really appreciating all that already have in your life. For appreciating what you have is the ultimate sign that you are really taking in all that has been offered.

And so, open to receive, appreciate all that you have and then as you feel filled up inside you can naturally offer the contribution that you came to make.

Have a good week everyone.

Sincerely,

Hayley Mermelstein
